Tidying things up...
Never get rid of old pieces parts. After I removed the 14" apes, and installed the bars that Slim and I made, the brake line, and clutch cable were too long (see older pix below). I was able to re-route the clutch cable, problem solved. I found my OEM brake line and re-bent the hard lined portions, problem solved. $ saved on parts= more $ for PBRs!

Locked in the shop for two days= Born Free Bound!
...and an empty beer fridge. The family was out of town for the weekend, so I took advantage and spent every waking moment in the shop, living on PBR's and frozen pizza.Yep, the Hellbilly DeLuxe is back on the road, and Born Free bound! It's still not done, but at least it's rideable again. I'll try to post a vid tomorrow after work, CTFS Fuckers!

Progress! I'm trying to get it rideable by Sunday PM.
I buttoned up all of the electrical today, added green (n) and purple (oil) LEDs, and a weatherproof toggle (on-off) to the top motor mount (that I modified a couple months back), and wired everything up.

...also added an LED to the license plate frame.

All that's left to do to make it rideable now is mount the tank, and tweak the carb. I need to hit the hardware store for some misc pieces parts.

'65 Mustang Pool Table
Mine would have to be white with blue GT stripes on the lower rockers.

Oh, and before the Ford Preservation Nazis start sending the hate mail, it's completely constructed from replica parts. Here's the link http://www.mustangpooltable.com/

65 Years ago Richard's Dad shot this film along Kalakaua Ave. in Waikiki capturing spontaneous celebrations that broke out upon first hearing news of the Japanese surrender. Kodachrome 16mm film: God Bless Kodachrome, right? He was able to find a outfit (mymovietransfer.com) to do a scan of this ultra rare footage. There are more still images from this amazing day, in color, at discoveringhawaii.com
