Grabber Blue...

...well, that's what DuPont used to call it. I had a convertible bug in the 80's painted this color. Contrary to popular belief it's NOT the same as the ol' Ford blue, close, but not the same. BTW- some have asked, No it's not mine...

...cuz it's Friday.

Chrome bits...er, I mean "bit"!

Slim picked up the chrome for me today, and we were less than pleased with the results. In short, I'm sending the tag bracket, and the headlight mount elsewhere to be redone. Neither Slim nor I will be using that chrome shop again. At least the bars came out decent, so I reinstalled them. Some day I'll get after those controls with a grinder and un-fugly-ify them.

BREAKING NEWS, THIS JUST IN!!!!

My local Ralph's just started stocking PBR in bottles! On a side note, check the price. I tried to get them to sell it to me for that, but the fine print said,"32 oz"...couldn't hurt to ask!

More detailed pix of Nutz Iron

If this bike doesn't make it into a mag, I'll eat my Firestone Zig Zag. Nice job Nutz!!!

Less is more.

It's pretty much my favorite saying for life in general. Except when it comes to things like money, and booze. However, when talking about bikes, cars, and music it's a perfect fit. I came accross this cool link on the COC blog. It's a song by the Eels and it represents "less is more" in stellar fashion, it's really raw, and under produced. In addition, the really cool thing I noticed about it is how John Lennon and Paul McCartney-ish it is. Right from the get go the melody sounds like something John would of written as do the lyrics. Then a few bars into the song I notice the bass melody...soon to be followed by a small cut of the bass player playing a Hofner bass.

Check it out...

Just installed my Sexy Breather Bolts...

...from Bench Mark. Big props for a cool idea. Yeah, they might weep a little when the small filters get saturated. No biggie, they're held in place with a c-ring for easy removal and cleaning. In my opinion it's worth the extra maintenance to have the cleaner look. Here's the link:

What's black and green, and purple all over?

My paint. Pete of Pistol's Kustom Paint and Pinstriping hooked it up! After a year of changing my mind daily about colors and designs, this is what I pulled the trigger with. It's nice to post my own paint for a change. I'll have pix of them mounted soon, stay tuned.

It's only been about 3 weeks...

...but the anticipation of waiting for my tins to come back from Pistol's is both exciting and drivin' me crazy! On the same token I told him not to rush, and they're in the clearing stages now. So, in honor of the wait, here's some Quad Cam love.
