Less is more.

It's pretty much my favorite saying for life in general. Except when it comes to things like money, and booze. However, when talking about bikes, cars, and music it's a perfect fit. I came accross this cool link on the COC blog. It's a song by the Eels and it represents "less is more" in stellar fashion, it's really raw, and under produced. In addition, the really cool thing I noticed about it is how John Lennon and Paul McCartney-ish it is. Right from the get go the melody sounds like something John would of written as do the lyrics. Then a few bars into the song I notice the bass melody...soon to be followed by a small cut of the bass player playing a Hofner bass.

Check it out...
