Honestly, I didn't know who he was. However, after digging into the interwebs and reading this single interview (clicky) by Utah Cafe Racer, I felt as if I'd known him...well, everything about him in his cut too short life, anyway.
In short, Sid was a young self made gear head, shop owner/operator who loved motorcycles, specifically Sportsters. He had a vision, and was moving his way up the motorcycle scene food chain quickly with a bullet.
RIP, Sid. I wish I could have gotten to know you. Any Sportster junkie is good in my book.
